A space to share my experiences as a mum so far on a journey to creating the healthiest space for my family.

DIY Handsanitizer

This handy little spray bottle is a must have in all nappy bags, handbags, backpacks, cars - basically anywhere, you feel me..?

The great thing about this little guy is there are no nasties, its cheap, quick to make, easy and feels oh-so-good on your skin (plus little ones love it too! And they can lick their hands to their hearts content after as there are no chemicals to disrupt their body!).

The oils I use are doTerra - these are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade and are the main ones I trust to use on mine and my families bodies. They are of the highest quality, smell divine and have been amazing for our family so far. Looooove them! If you want to know more about essential oils, you want to get your hands on your own then feel free to contact me or read more in my post about doTerra essential oils. All you need...

  • 50ml glass spray bottle
  • Filtered water
  • a dash of fractionated coconut oil (FCO)
  • 6 drops OnGuard
  • 6 drops lemon
  • 6 drops Tea tree

How to...

  • In the spray bottle, add a dash of FCO - this is going to help disperse the oils as well as moisturize your hands also so you don't get that gross 'dry-hands' feeling that normal chemical hand sanitisers give you.
  • Add the Essential oils and then top up with water! Screw on the lid and off you go - add a cute little sticker on there to tell you what it is and you're ready!

Hope you enjoy it!
