Hi.

A space to share my experiences as a mum so far on a journey to creating the healthiest space for my family.

DIY make-up remover pads

DIY make-up remover pads

Sooo.. I'm back with another DIY for you all! I've been meaning to try this for ages but never got around to it! Well, I had an evening where little Missy went to bed early so I had a bit of extra me-time and what better way to spend it than doing some experimenting. So this was my first time making these, let me know how you go yourself - just have fun with it! I will post again if I find any changes that are needed but I tried it straight away and it worked great, got my makeup off nice & easy and my face felt great.

How to ✔️ Make-up remover pads:
- glass jar (I used the large Mason Ball Jar)
- 1 pack cotton pads
- 5 tbsp coconut oil
- 2tbsp Castile soap
- filtered water
- essential oils (I used 3-5 drops Lavender & 3 drops Frankincense)

Place cotton pads in the jar. Mix coconut oil & Castile soap in a bowl, pour this over the cotton pads and squeeze them down to disperse/mix the mixture evenly.
Now fill with water until the pads are all wet (don't pour too much over them then they are just too soggy. I did this, put too much so I just poured excess out.) Add 4-5 drops of each essential oil, put the lid on & give it a gentle shake 😃👍🏻

This was my first try so was experimenting a bit but seems to be pretty good. Just try it out & have a play with it 😀👍🏻 Enjoy my lovelies!

Until next time!
